I suppose a boxer would be too large for my apartment -- not to mention that pets aren't allowed. I dunno, maybe a beagle?

Beagles are cute. Our neighbor has one and it seems to be rather placid. Slow-moving, no noise, seems practically sedated. ;-) Golden's remain my fav but Norwich terriers are nice too.
